It’s been 3 weeks since i last blogged the reason being exams, fever, block and boredom and that seems to be a thing of past now. Now people will see me regularly in other blogs and my blog as well. No welcome back comments please    I’ve been watching Test cricket between India and Sri Lanka for the past few days on Neo Cricket. The cricket commentary, I should say is really below par. To be honest the Sri Lankan commentary team is horrible. The coverage isn’t all that interesting either. RK was very disappointing; over stressing every time he ends a sentence. It is irritating and fake. I will quote a few examples here of some shoddy commentary. Russell Arnold on Thilan Samarweera “He ees a very good player. He starts off very slow and scores slow. He ees not afraid to play his strokes” Come Russell what are you saying, this is verbal diahorrea.    It's been a while since i wrote anything about cricket. I think this would be the right time to end my exile from posting about it. I am writing this like a phoenix out of the Ashes rather after the ashes  :)  .Yep the Ashes was done dusted literally few weeks back. I know i am pretty late, but better late than never. Even if i post late i will post the latest  :)    The Summer Ashes ended with England taking back the ashes of its cricket after bashing the Aussies 2-1. All you underdogs out there who are worrying out there, I have delightful news. South Africa the new world leader in ODI cricket was brought to ground with the Aussies avenging their series sown under, with a 2-1 victory in the away leg. This comes at the back of the hype that the Proteas were touted to beat the kangaroos. History is testimony to the fact that only the Aussies and the Windies were the only two teams who successfully held the favorites’ tag. Be it India, be it South Africa all have crumbled when burdened with the favorites’ tag. The Indians bitted the dust when they were the favorites in the Caribbean and got knocked in the group stage by a lowly Bangladesh. Now and many times before which of those I could not disclose because of restrictions of time and space, the one and only South Africa. Warner hits a six against South Africa in the T20 in Melbourne Dave Warner ,the pocket rocket which blasted the South African bowlers on Jan 11,2009 ,in his debut game needs much more time to repeat his feat.In the process ,the 22 year old became the first Australian in about a hundred years to make the debut for the national team without representing his home state New South Wales in a single first class game. Andy Roy Symonds has turned out to be one of the brattiest cricketers the game has ever seen if the recent lump of shit remark is anything to go by.He has a history of such events hung-over on the morning of a one-dayer against Bangladesh in 2005, a spat with Harbhajan Singh in the summer of 2007-08, a fight at a nightclub last year and another suspension at the hands of Cricket Australia earlier this summer. I might sound silly to you all.I cant blame you guys for that as they lost series to India and South Africa.But if anyone thinks of writing off Australia you have mistaken.Mind you India and SA beat the Aussies when they were at their weakest,the problem is others rarely manage to beat them.But when they do beat the Aussies they start screaming at the top of their voice.The likes of Marsh ,Warner,Clarke,Tait,Mitch might just manage to get them back on their feet.Australia seems to be coping well after losing great,it has found their answer for next spinner in Krezja too.I think future ahead for young blokes is pleasant especially Pocket Rocket Dave Warner,he just needs to fine tune his skills a bit.
