My First Vote

May 13th was the day i cast my first vote, but sadly it didn’t matter much because my candidate an entrepreneur is not known to many. I thought it would be a new experience and would make a mark in my life, but i was only left with a mark on my left index finger. It was yet another passable day in my life. Just like you would buy milk, stand in a queue, wait for your turn, show your voter ID, get your finger inked, press the button your done . But pressing the button part was fun, childish isn't it? Nevertheless it was good experience to press that and say what you want to the world.


It was really sad to see people being turned down after they had only their ration card and not voter ID. One bright thing is unlike the other big cities, my city didn’t have any mambo jumbo about voting . It had a 68% voter turn out. Pretty impressive compared to others and nothing out of the world.


The ADs of celebrities and others urging to vote turned out to be a big joke. Mumbai and Delhi were pathetic with very less voter turnout. Looks like most of the cricketers didn’t vote playing IPL. Kaif, Bangar and Akash should have am i right. Many people were busy voting in IPL T20 website about some useless things. I am glad that i voted, what about you guys what are your thoughts

    I couldnt vote sadly i was one of the people who u mentioned had no voter IDs.

The Great Mad-ras University Results Saga

Guys i am back with another installment of the Mad-ras university leelais. You may ask what is so great about MU results. Yeah it's great with the precision they keep up in announcing the results. They are so!! on time they always announce a date and deliver the results exactly a month after that date. Can it get any greater than this. I was disappointed with their punctuality last time the one month tripled i got the results weeks before my next semester. Formula for calculating result date: Result date =1000 * (R.D+ 31 days or one month which ever is less) /1ooo R.D = first rumoured date. ( BTW the mutiplied by 1000 and divide by 1000 is just a gimmick to make it more complicated) Talking about the results of the semester i wrote this May they have not delivered yet, obviously considering MU standards. The other day i had an argument with one of my professors about this. Not like i do this once in a blue moon, i do this often. My professor was talking about discontinuing one

My Tryst with God

Does God exist? this question has been lurking me for a long time. Since i was  born and brought up in a religious brahmin family my tryst with God had begun ever since i stepped onto this world. First thing i was taught was to fold my hands and pray. Everyone has two religions. One they are born into, another that they follow after growing up. Sadly most of the hindu customs are pretty much outta this world and higly symbolic. I was neither religious nor an atheist , but somewhere between the two. 19 is probably not the age for thinking about this. I was thinking about my teenage when was a tween and now my salvation. Pinjiliye pazhuthadhu as one would call in Tamil. This was when i started to search why i am here? Is there any being called GOD? Again it brings to Venkey and Mankey Venkey: Finally i found it! The Indian Dream
